I have a Compal HGL30: 14.1" w/ 9 cell battery. Anyone else who have this notebook or similar can suggest a good messenger bag to fit only the notebook w/ac charger and thin books/paper?

13.4" x 10" x 1.13~1.5" - This is the dimension of my notebook according to xoticpc.com. I do not know if this include the 9 cell or not. Thanks.

I am currently looking at targus's 15" (not 15.4") messenger bag but since I do not know if the notebook will fit due to not having the actual notebook yet.

Tom Bihn makes good quality messenger bags and backpacks. You might want to check them out.

I have the same messenger bag as Matt. It's 15.4' though... should be able to fit your 9 cell with no problems.
