    check out any logitech product. they have good desktop mics and really good headsets. tops u will spend about 50 usd on a good usb headset from logitech. maybe 30 usd for a g00d desktop mic.

    Doh, my mistake. I should've clarified.

    I'm looking for something to record lectures and meetings from possibly the other end of the room, so not a headset for myself.
