Pretty neat technology. I had no idea projectors were this small and powerful these days. Never heard of this brand either, but the reviewer seemed happy with it. Now and days do we really need to buy from the old school brands, or can we trust these new upcoming businesses to shine. I was reluctant to buy some brands like vizio and asus a few years ago but now they are everywhere!.

Personally I would only buy from known brands.
As far as tech is concerned when buying an unknown brand, it is probably made in china using sub-standard components, so the end quality will be bad and it will very likely break down in the near future.
There is a reason the brand is unknown!
Also I would research my purchase very carefully (read reviews etc.) regardless of brand.
If you buy the wrong brand or product you could very well end up buying twice and therefore paying double. -

the problem with pico projectors is the resolution and lumen output(tremendouly low)
with LEDs (a lot of them are sealed systems, meaning you cant replace it), most of them claim to have a life of 5000+ hours or more, but of course it depends. -
hm thanks for the advice. Ive had problems with well known brands as well as newer brands. The led projectors ive seen are all rated to have a lifespan of 15000 or more hours which is pretty cool. The cost of bulbs cost a few hundred bucks themselves so these leds projectors already seem to pay for themselves.
ill probably go look for some more reviews and do some more comparisons. but the aaxa m2 seems to be the one for me. -

i own an optoma pk301 projector and its a very nice projector with a decent lumens output (for a pico projector anyway)
The only thing ill tell you about these though is that make sure youll actually use it if your going to buy one as i rarely use mine.
(lately i find that i only use it in hotel rooms)
Ill probably end up selling mine in the near future but give that one a look as i am very pleased with its actual quality and performance. -
I havent had any trips to hotels or anything but i can see that being useful as well since these projectors are so small. -
Anyone have news on any new micro projectors coming out? I want to be able to set up a portable projector system at friends houses for parties since football is starting up.
