I bought this mouse for my sister because she got her first laptop. She has had the mouse since friday and the batteries died today (She was being fail and didn't turn it off but still) Out of curiosity, what kind of battery life are you guys experiencing with this mouse? :]

That seems really fast for batteries to die. I have the logitech v470 and the batteries last a good long while. I'm using eneloops. And I can't remember the last time I changed batteries. Also, I never turn it off.

I got it 2 months ago, and I accidentally leave it on all night a couple of times (5 times maybe) and I'm on it's 2nd battery - excluding the ones that came in the package, I didn't use those.

So the batteries last about a month for me.

Oh and a random tidbit, I dropped the USB adapter in a cup of Orange Pop and it still works. =D

I use the same mouse and lost battery usage from new within about three days. I forgot to turn it off. Singe replacing the batteries about four weeks ago I have made sure and tun off the mouse when not in use, and I still appear to have about 60% life left in them if the on battery indicator strip is anything to go by. I think it's a fantastic mouse, but I always carry a spare pair of batteries in my laptop bag just in case.
