    ??

Trying to decide over this or a nice regular wireless optical mouse, to use daily, doubt I'll use the thumbpad much.

I've got 3 or 4 diffrent microsoft trackballs in my house. I LOVE them. I even use them for gaming, which many people can not understand. I highly recomend them

Which models do you own? Which one do you prefer to use with the notebook?

I've also been looking at the Logitech cordless optical trackman. But, wasn't sure about the charging dock. We will be using mostly at home, so I could always keep the dock somewhere other then where the laptop is.

There are none in the stores around here, so I can go try them out.

I have only used them on my desktops, still waiting on the notebook to show up [8D] My favorite model is the trackball optical 1.0 (thats all it says on the bottom.) The ball is where your thumb is, not so hot for gameing, but great the rest of the time. The other one that I really like all the way around is the Trackball Explorer 1.0 Works great for gameing for me. They are all of very high quality.

Well, I ordered the Microsoft trackball Explorer yesterday from Amazon for $37 shipped. Thought it was great deal actually. There were 69 reviews of it there, and at least 90% rated it high. I'm just hoping I get it before or around when the notebook arrives.

I'll have to do a review once I try it out.

Got confirmation today that the mouse was shipped. One day turnaround isn't bad for free shipping.

Received the mouse today. I can't actually use it, since we don't have our laptop yet. But, I've got it out of box and must say I'm impressed so far. Trackball is very smooth and like the way my hand sits on the mouse. I also like the scroll bar placement.

I will have more info once the laptop arrives.
