I am looking at amazon.com right now and they seem to offer a lot of nice optical mouse with great prices. They currently have a microsoft notebook optical mouse
    http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00006IJX7/102-6263856-8251326?v=glance&s=electronics&vi=special-offers&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER
for 14 bux after rebate. They also offer a logitech mouse for around 8 bux or so after rebate(this is a regular and not a notebook mouse). I am looking at both these models but a little uncertain as to which one I should get. I have used a logitech before and have very good experience with their quality. My friend has a microsoft mouse and the scroller wheel seem to be a little stiff at time. Anyone here own a microsoft mouse and have any feedbacks regarding its over quality and durability would greatly be appreciated. Thanx in advance.

Yeah, Amazon does have some great prices on notebook accessories such as this Mouse. I have an MS Mouse and love it...I previously had a Logitech mouse and had problems with the mouse being responsive enough. This was 2.5 years ago though. In general I can say that an MS branded Mouse is a quality product and they actually do have some of the more innovative mice out there.

I use a standard corded logitech optical with my laptop and it works great. Can you go to a Best Buy or Circuit City or such and check the "Feel" of your perspective purchase? That's what I did.

    First PC = Vic-20, 8" 128KB Home-Brew Floppy Drive ... Current Rig = eMachines m6805 ... Quantum Leap?

I don't like ms mice either really - the base Microsoft optical mouse which I bought for my brother (who is running a P4 2.4) always seemed much more jerky and unresponsive than my Packard Bell optical mouse used mainly on my laptop which now I take with me to swap with the other one whenever I use his computer)

I have two optical Logitech mice, one wirless and one usb. I have no problem whatsoever with them and they were the cheapest optical Logitech mice available a couple of weeks ago, so...

I end up purchasing the microsoft mouse listed above. The mouse is very small...but for a notebook mouse it seem to be quite compatibile. I am little tick off that two weeks after I bought my mouse Micro Center offer an micro innovation mouse for 5 bux. I guess I am still keeping this one after all cuz I am a little iffy off the quality of micro innovation even though they did offer a lifetime warranty on their products.
