In an effort to feel like a desk top when home..with out all the wires, I bought new monitor (not the issue) and what I thought would be cool, Microsoft's Wireless Optical Desktop Elite. However, the PS port on the laptop is not compatible with the new keyboard/mouse. (OK it's been a while, but I thought all the round stuff in the back was the same)
Secondly, during the software installation it notes that it will now delete my old mouse settings. Is the set up just not advisable, and what should I be looking at?

Am I tool for getting this, but I can still use it on the house dell.

    Thanks,

    Dave
