I have an ASUS Vivotab that only comes with one micro-usb input. I already have a bluetooth keyboard to go with it, but I want to get a wired mouse for my own reasons. I was wondering if I can get a mirro-usb splitter to plug in the mouse and the charger at the same time, or would that cause some sort of weird one-way issue?
I am asking this first before I purchase one so I do not waste my money.

Are you sure that input isn't just for charging?

Very sure. I hooked a mouse up through it via a micro-usb to usb 2.0 converter and it worked. I also used an external hard drive for some file transfers. Truthfully, after looking online for more information I guess it would be best just to get a low priced Bluetooth mouse.

You can get them, I have one I bought for my old Android tablet. Is this what you're looking for?
Micro USB Host OTG Cable & USB power Charge for Samsung i9100 i9300 i9220 N7100 | eBay
Seem to remember mine being a bit cheaper than that though. If you're in the UK I can send you mine for free as I don't need it any more, if not I would search for "micro USB charge OTG" as that might bring up something suitable.
EDIT: I seem to remember seeing them with more than one OTG port too so you could connect more USB devices while charging. -

I'm pretty sure the one I had charged my old Android tablet while charging, that's the whole point of it! But yeah you will probably find bluetooth to be the better option, having to plug cables in on a mobile device can get annoying.
I have a clip on bluetooth keyboard and mouse for my Win 8.1 tab and it's really handy, much more convenient than USB hubs, OTG adapters and cables.
