I've never heard of either of these sites. Check resellerratings.com before you make a purchase.

Thanks for the tip Jetstar. They both look too shady for me. I found a decent site that sells it for a bit more I am going to go with.

J-Dogg, as a college student, do you think it would be able to hold 4 books plus my laptop? probably a spiral notebook too.

probably one or two bigger ones, Physics and Trig, and a bit skinnier and smaller philosophy and English book. And a spiral notebook or something equivalent. Thanks!

Is the laptop compartment just padded, or is tougher? I guess I'd like to know how it compares with something hard like Tom Bihn's Brain Cell. At $50 the Brain Cell seems overpriced compared to a whole backpack for $30 shipped, but I suppose the extra $20 is worth it if the protection is clearly better.

the first one is actually an ebay seller (TITANIUM rating) who is most definitely legit (bought mine a week ago for 17* , perfect and shipped very quick). And here is where that "*" comes into play. they have a flat rate shipping rate (which is 12 dollars to me, not sure if it varies), which brings the total to about 30 buck after all that said and done....Its a great deal either way, especially considering Newegg is 52 bucks (43.99 = 8 buck shipping for 3 day- which by the way never seems to process quick on newegg making it like a week ship... for me at least)or 50 on ebags.com. so go for the recoupIT seller and you'll be more than happy!

and that second link ive never seen before but looks like a ebay rip off.. so i guess be careful? Again, the second one I've never seen before

as for protection... the bag lacks a little, if your worried about constant drops and everything i GUESS i would go with the other one.... not saying that the protection in this bag is horrible (I've seen FAR WORSE- Targus anyone?), its just that it needs a little more padding(if you PLAN on dropping it.... it will hold up to small drops)!

this bag can fit everything I need by the way
