I want to put my speakers and monitor up on a riser.

The dimensions I am looking for are as follows:

width (across the desk from left to right) ~= 38" ~= 96.5 cm (no larger in this dimension)

height ~= 4" ~= 10 cm (up to 5" or even a tad more would be fine)

depth (front to back) ~= 12" ~= 30 cm (no larger in this dimension)

    ----

    Please help!

    Budget < $40

Do you mean like a table above your table? (just confirming)

If I am right I recommend heading to local shops like Rona, HomeDepot etc and look for things like flower stands etc. Just be creative and stay within you budget. Spraypaint is also your friend.

I ended up finding a wooden flower stand for 10$ and paid 2$ to get the feet cut lower to the height I wanted 2$ on rubber padding so it wont slip off and 5$ on a can of black spray paint.

I ended up changing my specs slightly after taking some more measurements and doing a simulation with some books as a stand, found something on amazon for $20.
