Anyone know if these will work with a T42? I have bluetooth version 1.2. I hate to order them and then not have them work. The review on the side stated they worked with a ThinkPad but not which one. Any thoughts appreciated. Not sure if this is the right forum, mods feel free to move. Oh Wait, thats me!

I purchased last week the Motorola HT820 stereo headset (for almost triple the price!) and have them working perfectly with my desktop PC with a Motorola PC850 Bluetooth dongle. I hadn't thought of trying them with my
X32, knowing that the built-in Bluetooth did not support Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP, a prerequisite for using this headset), but last night I updated to the latest Bluetooth drivers from Lenovo and was surprised to see that High-Quality Stereo Headset was added to the audio devices. Unfortunately, there is a footnote concerning the X32 --Enhanced Data Rate is not supported due to the H/W restriction
-- meaning that stereo audio streaming is not supported. Moreover, the T42 is not even listed as being supported so I'm almost certain you cannot use the headset for stereo listening unless you add a Bluetooth adapter that supports A2DP.

Sorry if this is not much help. Good luck!

does anyone know if any of the internal bluetooth cards for the T43 support A2DP? I don't like dongles.
