I bought a Toshiba Satellite laptop last fall. I have a Kenzington mouse. All was working fine until suddenly the mouse stopped working. This was after only a month.

Is it possible that I pressed a key that "turned off" the mouse? I checked the control panel and it says that the mouse is working properly.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Is this a wired or wireless mouse? If it is wireless, try replacing/recharging the batteries. Also, look under the mouse and see if there's an on/off switch on it. Another thing would be to press the link button on the reciever, and then on the mouse to see if it works again.

If it is wired, I have not heard of any wired mice with on/off switches on them. If so, you're out of luck.
