UK-based progamer Sujoy has posted what's probably the first ever objective benchmarks of mouse performance over at ESreality.com - check it out! It's an excellent article: ESReality MouseScore 2007

wow that is one of the most boring things ever.

Really? I found it fascinating ... but then again, I've always wondered about stuff like that. I liked that he followed a very rigorous scientific approach; explained all his tests in detail, and only depended on their results, not what it "felt" like, which is a common failing.
Of course, it is true that besides gamers not many people would really care about mouse performance... -
Is that the 22 page thing linked on slashdot earlier? I was interested until I saw TWENTY TWO pages.... more important things (mobos, procs, gpus) have shorter reviews than that!!
-
Yeah it is. But it's not a 'product review', it's a benchmark / comparison. Most of those typically have one page per product being tested, it's the same here. You don't really need to see all 22 pages; the first 4 explain the testing methodology and reasoning, and the last 2 summarize results. All of the pages in between are simply individual results for each mouse tested - you don't need to look at them unless you want to see how any particular mouse performed.

No VX or MX Revolution.
Those are the only 2 mouse I am interested in.
