Anyone seen any stylish, slim, yet protective mouse cases out there? I just got a new Logitech MX Anywhere mouse and it comes with a pleather zip-sleeve but I'm worried it'll eventually get crushed in my backpack...

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Yes, that is a pickle isn't it? I have the same issue and have to remind myself to take care and place my mouse in a position (on top?) and hope that it doesn't get crushed.

In any event, any case designed to protect the mouse would also be excessively large. Incidentally, the "pleather" zip sleeve isn't for the mouse, rather, the accessories that connect to it. But if you find one, please let me know.

@OP, there was actually a thread made not to long ago of the similar:

Mouse Case - what do you use?

Not sure how helpful it would be to you, but doesn't hurt to peruse it ~ if you want.

This one would work: CaseCrown Double Memory Foam Padded Mouse Case (Check) for the Apple Magic Mouse. and even this one: CaseCrown Double Memory Foam Padded Mouse Case (Black)

If you have a good backpack, it prolly has some nice "pockets" with (or outer) for accessory storage. I would think that with the case you have, and storage inside your backpack you would be decently protected. : )

Ahhh, sweet! If that memory foam is as protective as I think it will be, that's exactly what I'm looking for! And, oddly enough, the pics of the case on Amazon show my actual mouse (as opposed to the Apple Magic Mouse) as a perfect fit!

Edit: Upon further investigation, not only does the case not appear to be designed for the Apple Magic Mouse (as evidenced by the Logitech mouse in the pics), it's not designed for mice at all! It's apparently designed for GPS units! CaseCrown Classic GPS Case. Whatever works though, I guess! :D

    My mouse case thread

I ended up not wasting money on one. I just use a sock like numerous have suggested lol. As much as I don't really like putting my g700 in a "broken down old but clean-no longer using sock", it gets the job done.

My next best bet was a larger sized camera case, more like a sleeve. A design that has no pockets. You can find a couple probably around ebay. Not sure what kind of mouse you're using, but the g700 is sort of big. So it's hard to find something large enough to make it fit but not too bulky at the same time.

That casecrown is what I was originally going to buy. I think MIGHT still buy it... later on. Sock is good enough for now. Cin suggested that one too me too :D

I use THIS (in nicer colors, mind you) Case Logic digicam case for my MX Revolution. Fits perfectly, and quite reasonably priced too (got mine for under 20 bucks). A friend uses a slightly tighter Case Logic for his Anywhere MX

Do colors actually get nicer than those? I bought the "Anywhere MX" specifically for long hunting trips. My old mouse just didn't get the job done hiding out in the brush -- the rollerball socket was constantly getting clogged with leaves/debris.

A mouse case? What is the meaning of this, crazy. I have thrown mice in backpacks full of books for years and never had one break :).

    Use a sock. Seriously.

If you're worried about your mouse getting crushed, then use tupperware.

Spending money on a protective case for a mouse is a fool and his money parting ways.
