Hi guys, i am using Lenovo W500.

I am using a Razer Copperhead. I plug in and install the software for the mouse. Download was successful. I then start the Configuration, and it said my mouse cant be detected. But the funny thing is, i still can use my mouse and my hotkeys for my mouse are still there. Can any one teach me what to do.

One more question, will constant unplug and plug of the mouse to the usb port. does it spoils the mouse more easily?

You need to remove your current mouse, plug in the Razer, then reboot your system. It should detect it as new hardware when it starts back up.

You can also look at this: Razer - No Mouse Detected

It essentially tells you to do what I just did.

As far as plugging and unplugging, unless you're doing it like, a few hundred times a day, then probably. Regular use or even several times a day, no.

I had a similar problem with my mouse. constantly plugging and unplugging leads to more problems, for me anyway.
