    Hi,

I am currently looking for wireless mouse for my new m18x.

As my m18x comes with customizable lightning effects I'd really love to see some nice led's glowing on my mouse too.
Therefore I have been looking at the new Razer Mamba 4g. I really like the design and the light effects.
BUT there is one thing that does not meet my needs: it does not come with mobile receiver (correct me if I am wrong) so I would always have take the charger base with me...not a good solution as the m18x is already bulky enough :D

So the other 3 options would be:

Razer Orochi (which comes with bluetooth, whats cool. but I am not sure about lag..)

Roccat Pyra (would fit my needs..but not sure about quality/ design)

Gigabyte m8600 (looks pretty cool, but same thing with the receiver)

So please help me finding a solution! If there would be the possibilty to use the new mamba 4g with a mini receiver while I am on the go, I'd definetly take it!

    Thanks.

Of those 3 I would take to Roccat Pyra. I have heard that Orochi lags in wireless mode, and I have never heard anything about the Gigabyte.

I dont think the mamba can be used without the docking station, but I am not 100% sure about that.

I would recommend the G700, suits your needs, but it does not come with any stylish LEDs.

The Mamba can be used without the dock, but only in wired mode.

I use to have the orochi. I only used it in wired mode because it's wireless mode sucked. It is pretty comfortable aside from the sides. I don't know why they use slick plastics on the sides of some of their mice.
