I have a Asus UL80VT, I recently purchased the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000 as of last night. I used it for about 5 hours last night then turned off my computer. Now when I turned it on it does not work.

Things I have tried, are uninstall the software and reinstall it. Change the battery in it. The driver said it was up to date. I noticed the bluetooth piece is very hot after it is put in, the mouse is on just nothing is picked up. Also When disable the trackpad on the laptop it stays on for some reason now?

Someone please help me out here, the stupid people I talked to on the phone said to "reset to factory". I don't mind doing it but why would I even need to go there. Plus the laptop came with no restore discs and wont allow me to make them?

I am by no means a computer wiz. Thank you!

All I have access to at the moment is a netbook without a cd drive. Ill go grab it and see if anything pops up just plugging in the dongle.
