    Hi,

As of today, I was using a Logitech MX310 which has suddenly died. It was a pretty decent mouse and served me well until it started getting a bit grubby. I'm pretty sure my next mouse will be a Logitech. I use my computer for Photoshop, general browsing on the internet, etc. I have always used a wired mouse, but considering wireless. What should I get? I've been looking at the Logitech mice like the LX7, MX400, MX610, MX1000, etc.

    What do you recommend?

You got a specific budget in mind? Don't forget a wireless mouse is heavier because of the battery, unless you really need it go for wired :)

Yeah, I know about the weight issue. I've never really used a lot of wireless mice so I'm not sure how heavy it is. I'm not from America, but my budget is about $45 tops.

The best non-bluetooth wireless mice for general use on the market today in nearly every area (ergonomics, functionality and features, buttons, customization, style, etc.) would be:

    VX Nano for ultraportability
VX Revolution for mobile and desktop use
    MX Revolution for desktop use

If you're curious, you can play with the MX Air too, but I don't consider that to be really a good mouse (tries to do too much and fails at excelling in either area).

You may want to consider the G5 laser mouse if you don't mind a wired mouse, or, if you want a wireless mouse it might be worth looking into the G7 laser mouse, which is the wireless version of the G5.

The VX and G5/7 is out of my price range. I should also include that I am looking for a full size mouse and not a travel mouse!

If you can find an MX1000 within your budget go for it, if not try the MX700, great mouse and I'd still use it if my Razer Copperhead didn't supplant it :), is theMS/Razer Habu in your budget capabilities?

The VX Revolution actually works pretty well as a desktop mouse (it's only very slightly smaller than normal full sized mice - whereas the MX Revolution is actually a bit bigger than normal desktop mice). You can also find it for $35-45 very easily, especially with all the rebates that are offered on it.

If you're going to get a MX1000 though, I'd say just get the MX Revolution instead - similar prices in most places, and the Rev's much better.

I was waiting on local stores to get in the VX Nano mice for a long time so I could use gift cards on the purchase. I mostly wanted the tiny dongle of the Nano. No place within 100 miles got the Nano mice and the trackpad was driving me crazy in games, so I picked up a VX Revolution and its a very nice mouse. Perfect size for use on a laptop or desktop for me, I highly doubt the Nano would fit my hand any better and the USB dongle has never been a problem with the VX Revolution, I just slide it into the mouse when I am done using it.

As I said, I am NOT American so I cannot get all the deals you get, so rebates etc do not help me. These are some of the prices here...

    Logitech MX Revolution - $110
    Logitech G5 - $100
    Logitech MX1000 - $85
    Logitech VX Revolution - $85
    Logitech MX610 - $62
    Logitech LX7 - $57
    Logitech MX400 - $50

It's not a Logitech, but why not check out the MS Wireless Optical Mouse 3000? It's a great mouse with good range & battery life. You can get it for $30.
