hey guys, so i bought this hp mouse(prouduct number:KY620AA, Model No.: MORFDIUO-27M)

So the problem is that when my laptop is charging, my mouse has to like right next to the receiver, and when its not charging, it can only be like at the most probably less than 1 feet away. any1 know what might be wrong?

i've seen reviews saying that its great, and this 1 guy put it in his desktop, and it worked for him, now why won't it work for me?

I also put in new batteries and everything
heres the hp site of it: http://www.shopping.hp.com/product/computer/categories/mice_keyboards/1/accessories/KY620AA%23ABA

Are you using any other 27MHz devices near your laptop? It could be an interference issue.

When its "plugged in" and having this issue is it charging the battery or is it already full? Also do you have a third prong (ground)?

The inverter and step down assembly might be making a magnetic field that is "jamming" the signal.

The stuff in the power supply. It receives 110V AC current (in the USA) and inverts it to 110V DC current, the steps in down to the computers intake voltage. This can cause magnetic fields that can interfere with radio signals.

It's an interference problem. I'd suggest getting a new wireless mouse, preferably with 2.4GHz wireless connection instead of the 27MHz.

Make a Faraday cage over the PSU. (Google it)
