This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Mouse stopped working

    My mouse was working and I shut down my computer. I turned it back on the next day and now it is not working.

    It's an optical mouse, and it still can tell when it's moving (light gets brighter when it should be moving the mouse).

    Is it a brand name mouse? Microsoft? Logitech? Razer?

    Is there a driver you can try reinstalling?
