Mouse: Logitech G700 (Tracks better on hard pads)
High-DPI User (Prefers speed and fast movement)
Claw (when lazy) & Palm [50% time spent on each]
Prefer (Thick) Cloth Mousepads to reduce wear on skates and for a long lasting cloth pad.

I'm deciding over the Vespula, Goliathus Speed (Omega), and QcK (small).

There's a Vespula at my local Fry's and a G700 on display with the Vespula. I was able to try it out and it felt extremely smooth. I didn't test the loudness of the pad, but it felt very comfortable. My only concerns are that the pad will wear out quickly, as well as my mouse skates. I read many good reviews on this but I'm concerned on the lifespan of the Vespula.

Did some research on the Speed vs Control issue on the Goliathus and ultimately decided that speed is better for me. There is a 80% chance I will choose the Goliathus over all, but my major concerns are the Fragged version versus the regular version. I'm wondering if there are any dead-spots caused by the Fragged design, or if the mouse jumps when gliding over the fragged design. Any input/suggestions? I've only found a few comments on this and I'd like more confirmation especially with my mouse.

Was originally going to get the QcK small, but found that many prefer the Goliathus. If the Fragged Goliathus edition has problems, I will probably order the QcK. The cloth-wrinkles are not a problem for me and can be easily fixed.

I'm also mainly looking for input on the Fragged design concerns (mouse-jump or dead-zones).
[If a mod could add a poll, that would be great (3 options, Vespula, Goliathus, QcK) but not necessary]

I'll be getting a ratpadz soon. Only $20. Seems like a really good one as well. It is for my g700. I have the QCK. It tracks really well with my g700. I just know I prefer hard pads. Know that with the QCK, it gets dirty really easily.

I use a steelseries soft pad with my g500 and it is flawless. I highly recommend it.

I wish I could buy a brand new eXactmat from Razer's website. Is it like the Vespula? (But alluminum?)

Aluminum pads will wear down the mouse feet more quickly. I have an OCZ behemoth mousepad (which seems to be discontinued) as well as an Xtracpads ripper mousepad which seems to be working pretty well with my G700 (although I may need to get new glider feet for my G700 soon).

I have a deathadder and used to have a mamba, and I use the Razer Destructor. I think it's an awesome mouse pad, and I've convinced a few friends to get one aswell and now they all swear by it. It is kind of expensive but well worth it if you ask me.

I have the Qck mini. $7.99, it's awesome. However, I do have a preference for thin, cloth mousepads. I have had it for 4 months, nice and clean so far. My mouse is the Razer DeathAdder. I am not an intense gamer though, I just got something that's comfortable.

I use a Razer Scarab. Not a cloth pad, but it is hard, very smooth and gives a fine amount of control because of the slightly bumpy surface. It is also thin enough to bring about if you want to :)

u can check ebay to see if anyone has an eXactmat for sale. but yea, the vespula is the "successor". there's also no flex issues with the eXactmat cuz of it's aluminum body. i read about some minor flexing with the vespula.

The Vespula will bend if you force it to, but that's way more force than you would ever put on it during actual use. It does seem less prone to wearing down your mouse skates than the eXactMat did.

Of the three options, I recommend the Goliathus. It's available in different sizes depending on your needs, and either Speed or Control textures. I personally use the extra-large Speed version and I love it.

I use Thermaltake GAMMA PAD A2256 Gaming mouse pad.

Newegg.com - Thermaltake GAMMA PAD A2256 Gaming Mouse Pad

Highly recommended, very durable and I have not had any issues with it or the Logitech G5 (original electric blue) gaming mouse and I have had both for 4 years now.
Never liked cloth gaming mouse pads, they tend to fray on the edges and just wear out in general.
