Good quality head phones, nice carrying case, external hard drive for media, good mouse, cooling pad if you stay in one place alot.

Thank you for your suggestions, Syndrome.
I got a decent Sony ear phones, I have a carrying case but its alittle bit bulk (possible changing), I have an external HD, I dont need a mouse and cooling pad because I want to be wires free as possible. The only wires I have right now are the AC adapter and one usb cable.
Anyone else have other suggestions?

A car charger is nice to have, and perhaps one of those FM transmitters so you can broadcast your music to the car stereo (but don't mess around with the songs while you're driving). The quality won't be amazing, but it sure beats having to settle for what the radio stations offer.
Though, I'd just make sure to evaluate how happy you are with your headphones. I want to get a new soundcard for my notebook. If you are into getting the best experience from your audio sources (music, movies, games), then it might be a good idea to get one of those Creative sound cards that slide into the expansion slot. I'd get one, but I don't have the high end audio equipment to take advantage of the technologies. My music library is encoded in MP3.
If I did have the proper audio equipment, I'd probably invest in another external drive to store some of my favorite songs in a lossless format. I've always wanted to compare FLAC to a 160-192 kbps MP3.Last edited by a moderator: May 8, 2015 -
Hmmm, I am not really consern about sound quailty for my notebook. It is ok. Besides the slot is being use as a 6-in-1 card reader. However, I do agree with you about the quality of music. I kept mine at 160 Kbps, no lesser. I used to buy music but now, rarely.
And my collection isnt big. I got 5 CDs of Mp3, about 140 songs on each CD.
Thank you for your suggestion.
Anyone else.

Maybe if you want one then you could get an other monitor, dual monitor is great, makes for alot more desktop space. But other then that it sounds like you pretty much got everything you need... if you still feel that you need to burn the money then just give it to me
I'll find something to spend it on.

lol Here you go *give you $200* lol jk.
Hmmm, so I dont need any more accessories...cool. Thanks all.

Buy 3 huge external monitors and set them up around your head, get some 5.1 speakers, buy a joystick, and play Microsoft Flight Simulator.
-
Nah no thanks, I am not a big gamer anymore. Plus it will be lots of wires, and I hate wires. But thank you for your suggestion.

I purchased the Logitech Z2300 speakers. They are 2.1, not 5.1, but they sound amazing!
Movies sound awsome (it's THX certified), music, games... everything sound SO much better!
Check out CNet's review, or user reviews on amazon. Everyone who's purchased these speakers love 'em!

get a WIRELESS mouse
-
Shel: Hmm I will think about it.
FlyingMonkeyNinja: Nah, I am pretty confortable using the touch pad mousey.
Thank you for the suggestions.

i second and third the testimony to the greatness of the logitech z2300s. For the price, they sound quite good indeed.
-
How about a TV tuner?
-
Or a nice digi.
-
Eh, thats fine I don't really like wireless mice anyways!
-
Those speakers that Shel suggested do sound pretty nice, better then I would have thought coming from a set up like that.
-
You could get a wireless keyboard and attach a shoulder strap to it and play Frets On Fire. ;-)
