Hi guys, I am new to the PC gaming scene and I am looking for a new mouse. I have $55 dollars (including shipping) and I would prefer to use newegg for a retailer.
I have been looking at both the Mx518 and the G5, and I have heard really good things about both mice, I am looking for other suggestions as well.
Thanks,

just go to bestbuy and try them out. if you're not willing to go for something that's already overly recommended such as G5 you'll at least want to feel for the other 'alternatives.'

I think that I may just go for the G5, it looks like the most comfortable, razer included.
Thanks. -
im gettin that as welll ... and u should go to BB .. i did and i really like the G5 .. it feels like it's a missing part from my hand .. it's like better than playin with b88bs ..

Nice, I just ordered it from newegg. Being in High School and not having a car means that there are no guarantees as to when I would be able to go.
I would rather know that I will get it in 3 days than not know when I would go to best buy. -
microsoft sidewinder FTW.

The VX Nano is neat, only problem is the response time rules out gaming. I just got a G5 and really like it. Its big enough to rest your entire palm on it, making it very comfortable.

you can't go wrong with a G5, mx518 is a good choice if you're on a tight boudget. It's just a obtical verision of the G5. So it's usually cheaper.

I originally bought the MX518 and then later got the G5. I ended up going back to the 518. It just seemed more refined than the G5.
Mx518, G5 or others?
