Alright, im about 5 mins away from ordering the My Book Premium ES Edition. One problem. What cables do I need, I imagine it comes with the power cable but for Esata it says transfer rates of 3GB/s a second yet the cable says max rate of 300 mb/s am I missing something here?

3Gbps = 3000Mbps ~ 375MB/s = SATA-II interface speeds.
The drive itself would never reach those speeds, however. It's more likely you'll be getting ~10-50MB/s. A Raptor (10krpm) can approach about 100MB/s.
Unless it says it comes with the eSATA cable, I wouldn't count on it. -
What is a Raptor? a HDD type?

The raptor is a 10,000 rpm drive. Do a search if your want to know how fast your transfer rates will range. I tested my Seagate eSATA hd with HD Tune and posted here months ago. It was getting just under 70MB/sec through a pcmcia card (1.5Gb) IIRC. Mine came with an eSATA cable, but your's might not.
