I have to say the Razer mouse is definitely really responsive. You can find all the specs elsewhere but overall it’s holding up pretty well under 1 month of use. The lighting on the mouse pulses but it really doesn’t make much of a difference to me. Your hand will be covering it anyway.

The design is pretty simple, looks like a mouse that costs 5 bucks. The top matte surface feels really good. I mean all mice should feel like this. Its feels slightly rubberized which gives it just enough grip. However, the side is shiny (as you see in the picture I cello-taped it). The downside to the shiny plastic side is that when you sweat it gets sticky and dirty easily. It also doesn’t give it a good grip. That is the main concern.Otherwise it is a solid mouse, having form over functionality. You can definitely rest your hand on the mouse and feel comfortable.

The buttons are really responsive. All the buttons have some sort of bounce to it which is definitely a plus. The cord is pretty long and stretches over my 22” monitor.

People say that a downside is the lack of on-the-fly sensitivity. There is a button at the bottom that changes mouse profile but it wouldn’t be on the fly. I am not a big PC gamer but I don’t really find on-the-fly sensitivity useful. It is something you should be aware of.
I have been using the mouse on a wooden surface and the text on the back label is fading away. I can’t even see my serial number.

Like I said before, the mouse is so responsive I wouldn’t go back to any cheaper mouse. The software is a nice touch (you can turn off the lights) but the main thing is a mouse. I would give it an 8/10 overall and it’s definitely a decent choice for gamers.

I'm pretty happy with mine. Have been using the DeathAdder with the Mantis Control mouse pad.

I love my DeathAdder, best gaming mouse I have ever used (that's saying a lot considering I am a lefty and have to switch hands to use it).

On my Macbook Pro in Vista, for some reason switching sensitivity in the DeathAdder control panel works VERY intermittently to the point that I don't even bother trying anymore. This doesn't bother me too much considering I always leave it at max sensitivity, but it would be nice if someday it was fixed.

Perfectly engineered mouse, fits my hand better than a Logitec G5.
