My computer(an Asus G1S) up until yesterday had absolutely no problems with my external Hard drive. But recently it won't read it, i have not done anything to my computer, i haven't deleted drivers or anything. I don't have the drivers on hand and the ones to download don't seem to be of any use.
The external HD is a Western Digital 160gb ex hd, i got it for x-mas this past year.

If anyone has any advice it'd be greatly appreciated.

hot or cold plug? If you've only tried one or the other, try the other or the one.

hot plug = plugging while booted
cold plug = plugging while powered off
