    Hello,

I'm debating which cooler to get for NP8662.

I've looked at several models and and read the suggestions and such, and came down to these.

Zalman 2000 - http://www.amazon.com/Zalman-ZM-NC2...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1246252353&sr=8-1 This one is quite popular, it seems.

    Antec 200 - http://www.amazon.com/Antec-Unbeata...6?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1246252516&sr=1-6 A bit pricey...

Another Antec cooler - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938811&pf_rd_i=507846 Cheapest of the 3.

Now, would all of these fit and work well with NP8662 (Clevo 860TU)? Which one would be the most efficient at it? I don't care about the design at all.

    Thanks in advance.

All three of those are good coolers. The last Antec cooler has been around for a while and is very good for the price. The Antec 200, as you said, is a little pricey, but you are getting a fan where the NP8662 needs it the most. The NC2000 is always a crowd favorite.

Flip a coin. Heads, the Zalman. Tails, the Antec 200. On it's side, the cheaper Antec.

I use the NC2000 with the 8662 and it drops all temps but mainly keeps HDD from rising rapidly which is the main flaw of the 8662

I decided to go with Zalman 2000. Cheaper, more popular, and base is aluminum.

    Well, here's the result-

Without Cooler at max load and heavy HDD transfers-

With the Cooler at same settings-

The MAX temperatures were the temp at the heavy load/transfer. I think I took both SS after some time was gone.

    I'm happy :D
