HI,
I live in India and am being gifted an Asus T100 10.1" Tablet 64GB Memory Windows 8.1 from the US.
I am unable to locate a reliable ac/dc converter for the Asus t100.
Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with the ac/dc converter for asus t100.
Your help is much appreciated

Please clarify what you are wanting. If it is a power adapter that will work in India then I would point out that the power supplies for notebooks, tablets and phones will work with the mains power just about anywhere on this planet. All you need is an adapter so that the pins on the power supply will plug into an Indian mains socket.
If you don't have a power supply then the T100 uses a micro USB power connector according to the manual (page 23) so a power supply such as this would work.

I always look for the 2.1 amp output chargers. They always seem to be better quality than the 2.0 amp chargers. I use a Motorola tablet charger for my Asus T100.

I have been looking for a longer charging cable for my T100, but even the other micro-usb cables i have the same length as the original only charge at half the speed, so the supplied cable must be something special , I priced the original cable it`s like £15-20

Thanks John.....I guess I just need a adapter such that the pins will plug in to a India socket.
I did want to confirm that I wont need a separate power cord (other than what is shipped with the tablet). -

You will find extension leads with sockets that take many shapes and sized of plugs in your nearest electronics store and you may find a US plug to India socket adapter. However, you may find the most convenient solution is a new charger. The micro USB connector is used by many tablets.

You can also easily get micro USB extension cords from eBay for very cheap.
