    Need Good Quality Webcam and Headset

    I'm on a budget, so I can't afford anything expensive. I can spend around $50 or so for each.

    I've been considering the Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX for a webcam, but I'm wondering if there are any other webcams that are better.

    As for a headset, I haven't researched any. I just know that I want it to have a noise-cancelling mic.

    By the way, the Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX is not made for notebook though, take a look at the Logitech QuickCam Deluxe, the current Amazon deal is pretty good, on sale for only $34.99:

    I'm going to need it for a Desktop computer with an LCD screen. So would the STX still be the one to go for?

    Also, there is a good deal on the QuickCam Communicate MP, it has a better resolution than all 3 QuickCam Communicate STXs, I'd get this one over the QuickCam Communicate STX:

    The first of the three links was the one I was looking at.
    I will check out the MP though. They look almost exactly the same.


    Anyone have any suggestions for some reliable headsets? I don't need anything over the top.

    The first STX has the lowest megapixel out of all 3 STXs, only 0.3, and they all have the same resolution of 640 x 480. The MP is 1.3 megapixel with a resolution of 960 x 720.

    I think that's a typo. On the Logitech website, it says that it has 1.3 MP.
    Logitech Quickcam Communicate STX

    The MP does have better video resolution though, so I will definitely take that into consideration.
