Hello Everyone,
I would like your opinions on which is the better choice. I didn't want to clog the board with 2 seperate threads, so I'm asking about both mouse and speaker in this one. I am simply looking the best function/value in a great gaming mouse suitable for my Sager 5793. As for the speakers, I am not looking for a super expensive high end audio system, just something that will deliver decent sound and will work with my Sager. Thank you very much for all suggestions!

Razer Lachesis $79.99 http://www.razerzone.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=72

I've got a Logitech G9 that I love, you should check it out.
As for speakers, you should check out the Creative I-Trigue 3500, or if you want something more bass heavy the Logitech Z-2300. -

Between the mouse choises you have given it would really depend on how you hold your mouse. Everyone is different and there is no right or wrong way to hold a mouse, but there are 2 main styles.
P&A (palm and arm) you hold the mouse in the palm of you hand and use a combination of your sholder, elbow and wrist to move the mouse around. I am a P&A guy myself
FT+W (fingertip and wrist) you plant your wrist on the desk, hold the mouse with the tips of your fingers and move the mouse around mostly with your fingers.
The Microsoft Sidewinder is only viaible for P&A people. It is not very comfortable to use if your fall into the FT+W group. I'm a P&A guy and I used the microsoft sidewinder at a friends house. It was OK, but I wouldn't reckmond getting it. So between the mouse choises you have given us I would get the Razer.
I personally use a Logitech G9 and I love it. I would highly reckond gettting one as long as your willing to shell out $80 on a mouse. Some of the G9s features include
3200 dpi
in the fly dpi adjustment
adjustable wieghts
a special braided cord that doesn't get in the way
and best of all adjustable grips. There are 2 different grips that come with the G9. One is good for P&A guys and the other is for FT=W people. It's not just an advertising ploy by Logitech. They really work.
I don't know anything about notebook speakers so I cant give you any input there. Sorry -
Id say Sidewinder and the Harmon/Kardon

I have a G5 and love it, the Sidewinder has a really weird feel to me. Its just too bulky, and I like the weights layout in the G5 better.

The Razer Deathadder is pretty good. G5 is good too
Speakers...Cambridge Soundworks PCworksCheap, last for ever, and most importantly, sound great
