Hi i just got my laptop about a month ago, and i have been wrapping up my laptop with a t-shirt when i put it in my backpack.

But i think its time to retire the t-shirt and find a sleeve for it.

What are some sleeves that would fit my laptop??
    Some links would also help.

other info about me, is im from canada, so shipping cant be excessively expensive, and would prefere a lightweight sleeve type. Im not really interested in those 1lb sleeves but am open to suggestions.

SFBags.com makes a really nice sleeve for the 13.3 inch Fujitsu S-series. Fits like a glove, and they can add a strap and/or carry bag. It is made in the USA - very high quality. I really like my sleeve from them.

Crescentmage, I am at that website you suggested, and I don't see any bag that has a zipper or full shut mechanism. Only sleeves that can be equiped with a 'flap' and I am assuming, if one doesn't put a 'flap', there will be no security to hold the notebook from slipping out of the open sided sleeve (based on sleeve 'tightness' may not be enough).

    They are also recommending a 13 x 13" sleeve for a notebook that is 11.5 x 9.3". Doesn't make sense.

Hard to tell from the pic, but it's a nephrene sleeve with zipper all the way around. It's made for a 12" and larger Apple ibook. I got the sleeve for my 6231 and the fit was good, a little tight, but good. Also came in grey, and has a small IB logo on it. Worked for my purposes though, until I got a case from P1, which didn't fit as good. Was a lot looser, and I had to get a piece of velcro sewn on for a tighter closed fit.

I have the neoprene sleevecase with a velcro flap, and I have no fear of it coming unattached. Even without the flap you get a velcro strap, which probably holds it just as well (See the default picture of the sleevecase), but I have no experience with it. But I trust the flap as much as any zipper, and it keeps my notebook fully covered.
And if you check the sizes, the Fujitsu S series is in this column:
    13 13 S 6000 11.5 9.3 1.3 13
The 13x13 are just the numbers SFbags uses - the ones to the right are the actual notebook dimensions, and believe me, it fits very snug.
