I guess it depends on how much you want to spend and what else you want to carry with it.

STM always seems to have reasonably priced and practical / good looking solutions.

Visconti make messenger bags based around laptops. I think that they might be more for 15 inch and upwards though. But if you're carrying it around with some books or such, shouldn't be a problem. However, the price may be - just thought I'd throw out some options.

I don't necessarily judge only by price but they seem fatally cheap for full leather bags. Fatal, as in there's no way you're getting anything but really badly tanned leather for that kind of rate. I guess if you're tossing them out after a year or so it's not that big an issue.

An alternative is Knomo. They use reasonable - but still not that amazing - leather strategically, have laptop-specific features and do have an excellent 2-year warranty.

Not so sure about slim, but Tusting is a good UK choice for a solid full-leather messenger - and an indication of how much a decent leather bag actually should cost.
