Does anyone else have any recommendations for a laptop cooler for the Alienware M9750? Something along the lines of a $1 - $40 price range would be nice.

This is a first time buying a cooler, so I'm not sure which coolers are better to get for my kind of laptop.

I was looking at the Enermax Aeolus CP001, but I can't find any place that sells them anymore, and the 1 or two places that do, sell them for like $70.

the cryo LX is actually pretty popular among the alienware community. there's a few threads about alienware users and the successful pairing of the cryo LX. u'd probably have to dig them up though.

in my opinion, the cryo LX is still the best cooler on the market. mines still going strong after about 3 years of it being on pretty much 24/7. it's actually a bad thing cuz i'm waitin for a fan to go out or something so i'd have a reason to upgrade all 3 fans lol. :p

Could you post a pic of the bottom? There is no way to really tell which is best without knowing where your vents are.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I have been busy the last few days, so I haven't kept an eye on this post.

I ended up purchasing the Cooler Master Storm SF.

I ended up deciding on a cooler after looking at quite a few different types and reading/watching reviews. I picked this one because of the really good cooling (2 120mm fans), with an adjustable speed control and LED lights (which I kinda wanted).

I haven't got a chance to test it fully on my Alienware (I already checked if the fans would line up under the vents), but on another one of my laptops (an older Acer), it cooled both the GPU and CPU up to 7 degrees on idle.

Anyways, I might do a review of it since I haven't seen one on here about the cooler (only will make one if I find the cooler to be good enough).
