I need a laptop backpack for my Dell Inspiron 1520 with a 9-cell battery.
So that means that it has to fit something slightly larger than a 15.4" laptop.
I need this backpack to be (from order of importance):

    a) Very big: Big enough to hold everything that I need for a high-school day + the laptop- around 8-10 inches of depth.

    b) High-quality and protect the laptop

    c) Under $50

Please list any good laptop backpacks that would fit my needs.

    Thanks,
    Leon

No, not really, I only have 5 minutes between classes, and almost all my classes are on the 2nd floor and my locker is on the 1st.

And I just looked at the Mobile Edge Express, and it is way too small for me. I need to fit at least 3 two-inch binders and maybe 2 or 3 one-inch books + the 1.5 inch laptop and some extra stuff. So I need at least 8 to 10 inches of depth.

I think I'm going to get a North Face backpack.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just bought a silver one on eBay for $23. The camo looks so much nicer, but it's $50 with shipping on newegg :(

    Repped.

I'm thinking about getting either the Wenger Synergy, the Wenger Maxxum, the Wenger Pegasus (a little out of my budget, but I heard that it was huge), the Targus XL, or the Targus Groove. Which one do you think is the best? I have heard reports saying that the Dell Inspiron 1520 with a 9-cell won't fit into the Maxxum. Feel free to suggest other models.

    Thanks,
    Leon

How much do each Wenger backpack cost in US?

I want to buy a Synergy (€ ;), it's very well made and big, but I don't really like how it looks.
