Hello! I need a new Wireless / Bluetooth mouse for my notebook.
I have been looking and Logitech's V270/V470/VX Revolution seem very nice.
The first 2 are BT, and the last one has a dongle.
Anyway, I am not sure if they will be very comfortable for my hand. I have been using MX518/G5 mice for some years, and I don't know if I will be able to use "something differente".
Also, my hand is... "big" and maybe those mice would be too small...
¿What do you think?
Edit: Pics taken with my cell and my current G5 so you can know the size of my hand

Do you palm your mice or use a "claw" grip? I palm my mice so the V270, V470 and VX nano were all very uncomfortable. Then when I tried the VX Rev it felt like it was designed for me, well that and the weird MS vertical mouse, but I don't want to lunge that thing around. Additionally, I was looking for a slightly smaller mouse that let my pinky and ring finger get into a more comfortable position. Over long periods of time grove were you put your pinky in started to stress out my right hand. I have a logitech mx500 which is basically the same shape as the G5. Still, all the advice on here didn't really help me nearly as much as actually testing one out at Best Buy. Since a new one opened up near my house, I went there and tried out various mice.

I guess I "palm" my mice, but I don't know (you can check it in the 2º pic, I'm "using" the G5).
I don't know if I should go for BT or normal wireless, because users are reporting many problems with BT mice...
I hope there was a BT G7, or at least it had 2 "thumb buttons..." (like the new G5).
Maybe they'd release a G5 BT with 2 buttons in the future? -
Over last 4 years I haven't found an full size bluetooth mouse I have been completeley happy with.
I have used a Kensington Bluetooth Pilot Mouse for last 4 years it has worked fine but would go through 2 AA every 2 weeks. It would collect every little nasty thing in the rubber side pads. Recently it started to die. I have replaced with the Microsoft mouse below.

My only problem is that the scroll wheel is smooth movement the is no click feel for every 16th turn. Beyond that it is perfect. Many people say you have to use the dongle but mine works fine with internal bluetooth on T61P.
Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 $74.99 LINK
FYI: Neither mouse has a passcode for Bluetooth connection so is you will have of same model 2 in proximity there can be problems. -
Interesting... But the 1st seems too small and the second one it's... well it's too expensive and I don't know if it would bee comfortable in my hands.
Any more suggestions? -
V470, it is nice. The VX gets bad reception (it is what I use) on occasion
-
the vx revo was designed for right handed people, whereas the others are designed for everyone. i have one, its very nice and i would recommend it.
-
I will try to find it on eBay USA as it's too expensive in my country
How much should I expect to pay? -
And bluetooth mice in general...
(There's another thread on this somewhere... Bluetooth lag problems). -
Well, finally I got the VX Revolution.
It's GREAT, ergonomic, comfortable and beautiful.
The only problem is that when I am copying files over the Wifi network (from my main computer to my laptop, being those 2 computers very close) the mouse stops working. It's very very laggy and it's impossible to control.
I have been searching and it seems to be a problem with Wifi signal..
Anyway, I'm happy with the purchase -
