Currently running a ViewSonic 19 incher, it's not bad but the lack of scaling options is frustrating me, and there's only VGA and HDMI(which doesn't work right with my Radeon 5700, goes all blurry/jumpy).

Don't have a lot of money, looking to spend maybe €150 on a replacement, would like slightly better contrast ratio, scaling options, maybe slightly larger screen.

Moved this to accessories since you are looking for a screen and not to replace the panel in your laptop.

I'm using a 22" LG IPS226V and i quite like it. I am not up to date on current european prices, but i got mine on sale for $180 CAD, has VA, DVI and HDMI inputs.

On a side note, open up the catalyst control center, you should have scaling options somewhere in there. I could check exactly where tomorrow when i'll hok my G73 in the office at work. I had to set underscan to 0% in CCC to get it to display full screen. My mobility 5870 was assuming that it was a HDTV and was set to underscan by default.

An LCD-LED display is gonna be brighter, have a superior contrast ratio and be thinner than an LCD-LCD. Is it worth it over an LCD? If it's only a little more costly then yes, if not most LCD's today are already very good.
