Now I have browsed through some of the laptop backpack options available in the sticky but most of them are above $70 to say the least. I am looking for a backpack that costs max $50 (with shipping since I will order online). I have used Targus before and was very satisfied with their quality but the bag's stitches have torn up now. Anyone have any suggestions for me? Laptop specs in sig.

    Here you go:

I put my dell xps 1530 (also a laptop over 15inches) in the sleeve and then into this backpack and it fits very well. I can also put my ipod, external HD, my mouse, extra laptop battery and a couple books and other random things and it's very comfortable even if you wear it for long periods of time. I like that the bottom of the bag makes it stand straight up no matter what and it has shock absorbers to reduce the jolting your computer might suffer while being bounced around in a backpack. Also, you can't beat the price for swiss army bag, and it has a lifetime warranty.
