i understand this cooler requires a lot of power from the usb ports in order to function at maximum efficiency so i was wondering if anyone knows if having four usb ports pulling 500ma individually would be enough to power all three fans at the highest setting.

my brand new 17" hp dv7-3085dx is a beast and i payed a hefty 1500$ for it to support my gaming needs but my temperature monitor that i installed is recording upwards of 70 degrees celsius for my quad core intel i7 processors and almost as high for my GPU even with a low end cooling pad which scares me because the graphics card on my last laptop died due to excessive on my after 3 years of intense gaming even with two seperate cooling pads i tried out and while 3 years is worth the money for me im afraid my new comp wont even last a year from the way the heat has been so far within the first two weeks.

if anyone knows if it can handle the power specs of this cooling pad or a better alternative any input and advice would be greatly appreciated
