My old Kensington back bit the dust so I'm looking for a new bag for my Vostro 1400. Also need space for a mouse, notebook cooler and other accessories. Any recommendations on the best bag for my needs?? Thanks!

I tend to be rough on my bags...so I'm concerned about the padding issue with this bag...and also, I don't particularly care for the color scheme.

Chaz...thanks for those links! Looks like some really nice bags. As I mentioned in my post above, I tend to be rough with my bags and padding is the number one concern for me...as well as roominess for accessories. Price is not really a biggie for me at this point.

You sound like a perfect candidate for the WaterField bags then. I have been using the cargo bag for over two years and it looks brand new. The quality is amazing.
I recommend the non-leather flap because it is more durable. Also get the para-gliding buckle because the aircraft seat buckle is too bulky and gets caught on things.

Kelty Reverb. ebags has a good deal on them. I use it myself for an Inspiron 1520 and it works like a dream. Seems small but it can swallow up an insane amount of stuff.
