I am looking for some relatively inexpensive speakers for my laptop. These speakers do not need to have the greatest audio output ever but better than the speakers on my laptop, which shouldn't be too hard to beat. I have a Dell XPS M1210 laptop with the upgraded audio package, Integrated Sound Blaster® Audigy™HD Software Edition. I don't know anything about speakers Please Help!

Oh I don't know preferably less than $50. I will not be doing anything sound intensive; Internet browsing, watching You Tube, some games, and maybe DVDs.

After reading all the good reviews on Newegg, I bought the Logitech X-230 2.1 speakers, and I'm quite happy with them. I just needed some cheap, pretty good speakers - and they're exactly that. I'm certainly no audiophile, and I'm sure there are better-sounding options available, but for the price, they sound perfectly fine.

For that price, I agree the x230 is fine.
