Do I need extra 3.5mm cables for the Steelseries Siberia V2 Universal Headset? I want to pick up this deal but just wanna know if I'll need a couple 3.5mm cables to connect it to my notebook's built-in sound. Thanks in advance!

awesome thanks! I was actually looking for an unboxing video on YT but only could find USB versions. The picture on NewEgg made it look like it had female 3.5mm connectors coming out of the mic/volume controller and I wasn't sure if I should have bought a few extra 3.5mm cables to plug into it.

BTW, the NewEgg site lists its compatibility with all iOS devices, which is leading me to think that it has a single 3.5mm cable that has the 3 bands on it for stereo sound and mic. Any info about this, in case I'd need a Female to dual Male 3.5mm connection for both mic and stereo sound? Thanks again and sorry for my ignorance on the matter, I wouldn't *think* SteelSeries would make a full headset version of their Siberia V2 just for mobile devices, but I wouldn't be surprised either.

Looks like the same usb adapter I have so it has 2 jacks. They may include an adapter to use with phone or they just assume it "compatible" if you can hear with it and not use the mic via 2 band connectors.

I dunno why they have so many versions of this when they are all the same thing, just a different accessory I think. Maybe there home site will have more info as the newegg site is about as blank/horrible as they come.

Yeah, I saw they have a neckband version of the Sibera for mobile devices on their website. The NewEgg site says it has a "SteelSeries AudioMixer" so it kind of sounds like what the universal kit has with the XBox/PS3 voice chat mixer for game/chat sound. Either way, at only $50 I'm gonna pull the trigger without dissecting this deal any further. Worst case scenario it comes with a single 3.5mm output and I just get a F to dual M cable and suck up the fact that I'll be using a splitter, however I doubt it's any different from the video you linked. Thanks for the halp!
