C910 was $50 AR on Amazon just a while back.

I have it and I suppose for a webcam its pretty good, but I feel it falls short in many areas were they promised to deliver.

The competing product the Microsoft Lifecam Studio seems to be better quality on all levels.

    > Sharper image
    > Better Autofocus
    > Higher Frame Rate
    > Better Low Light

I think its definitely a hardware thing, the MS cam has better hardware, and Logitech tried to fill the gap with software, and the software fails to deliver where it should as well.

    > No hotkey ability to start/stop recording
    > No options for codec or compression level for recording
    > No ability to change the default folder where it saves the video files
    > Video Effects do not work in 1080p

The MS Lifecam Studio has software flaws too, like it only records 720p when the webcam is capable of 1080p, so you have to use other software with the camera for 1080p.

However it looks much better in 1080p and it works with other software, when I tried to record with the c910 on other software it didnt want to work so well.
