    Hey all,

I need a good gaming mouse for my laptop. I have an intellimouse explorer now (older one) and its ok but i want more.

Which mice offer the best performance? I tried wireless mice but they seem to be less responsive than wired ones...I would be willing to try wireless again if the performance was on par.

    My requirements:

    1. This mouse must have the option to put the scroll wheel in segmented mode (instead of smooth).

    2. As many buttons as possible.

    3. Best performance possible (resposiveness, accuracy etc).

    Let me know your thoughts!

    Thanks!

Any Razer mouse ;) Diamonback, etc.

The Logitech mx500 series, or the new Logitech G5 or G7.

I purchased the G5, I'm gonna pick it up later today :D

I, too, recommend the Razer Diamondback. It's the most comfortable mouse I've ever used (I have a MX500, and MX1000). It's GREAT for gaming. Very precise and has excellent response time.
