    Hi,

I have an Inspiron 5160 which I purchased over 2 years ago. The adapter died a few months ago and they replaced it under warranty. The replacement died too (I think it's a refurbished one  ) in three months right after my warranty expired.

I live in Canada and so contacted Dell Canada. They can send me a replacement for over 100$ and it comes with no warranty whatsoever. I don't know if I can trust it.

There is a BestBuy close to my house and they have this retractable universal adapter for 85$. That comes with the manufacturer limited warranty (one year) and I think it's like 70W or something. My adapter is 130W and output of 19.5V. Somebody said if I use the 70W, I will fry my computer. I can not find any universal adapter that is 130W. I really don't know what do and I am quite computer illiterate so your help would be appreciated :) I use my computer quite a bit for my school so I need something reliable.
