Hey all i after looking around i knocked it down to two gaming mouses i wanted (The saitek gm3200 from what i read was jus really poor)

    1) Microsoft Habu Gaming Mouse With 200DPI Razer Precision £34 ~68USD

    2) Logitech mx518 £25 ~50USD

now i wanted to know what everyone thinks...

from what i've read around on other websites people love the logitech

the habu is supposed to be really good well but has issues with its drivers and firmware (but which can be sorted out in a matter or mins)

the habu can go up to 2000dpi whereas the mx518 cango upto 1600dpi but a lot of people find 1600dpi too much...anyone care to help...im looking for best performance to price...

anyone had hands on experience with either

    thanks for your help :)

I personally am a HUGE fan of Razer, but the Mx518 was my second choice to the Razer Products. 1600DPI should be more than enough for any game you want to play. I doubt you'll notice any more than that, I don't.

lol, you had the similar gaming mice that i narrowed down to as well.
    Thread here:

I ended up getting the MX518 because its a bang for the buck gaming mouse that has 2 thumb buttons and ergonomic feel.

The MS Hubu looked very promising, except the price tag didnt make me feel that it was the best buy.

You should also check out the Razer DeathAdder, its getting to reviews to be one of the best gaming mice.

I have recently got the 518 and i love it. I wanted the G5 but thats nearly £50 and i couldnt justify spending that much.
From looking at quite a few reviews though the 518 seemed to be excellent and the reviews are rite. Its very comfortable, easy to use and is very accurate.
From what i have heard the extra 400dpi is unnoticeable so spending another tenner aint worth it. Ive also heard that people with bigger hands find the mx518 more comfortable.

my bad didnt pick that up but i've read it now..death adder i checked out but cant seem to find it in the uk...well found it in one place for around £45 ~90USD

yeah i read your razor reviews and was really thinking maybe a razor aswell but in the uk they start from around £40 ~80USD i think really didnt wanna spend more than £25 but didnt mind going higher if it was worth the extra £10
so do you think the habu is worth the extra £10 (~20USD from what im gather ing it isnt)

im kinda more edging towards the logitech now...but like you said in ur thread gophn the dented looks in the mouse make you look like use got anger management problems :)

The MX518 feels great and plays great. I never really use past the 1200 DPI for overall use.

The optical-illusion of having a dented mouse, makes some gamers feel like its cool or it would make others think that they are so hardcore that the mouse looks dented.

In any case, I like the mouse, it is a great value for what it gives you.
