So im looking at buying a LCD monitor to go with my laptop, and i am really getting tired of having to move the desk in and out of the wall to plug in the laptop charger, is there any docking station type of unit that i can use to charge + allow for multi screen use with the new monitor...

of course the extra ports that could be acquired on a docking station would be great...

my laptop is a Sony Viao FW140D, been looking at sony canada website, but its a maze on that site lol

anyone have any help they can offer me?

    Thanks everyone

How about buying another adapter and leaving one behind the desk?
