My dad asked me today if there is a high quality mouse/keyboard that uses a small dongle. I have the old cheap rosewill 1600RF and it comes with a mini dongle that i love a lot but they no longer sell it. He wants a mouse that has a mini dongle like the one below but he needs a big mouse not a small one like the one that comes in the 1600RF. My dad has hands that can engulf most of my head lol so using a small mouse is nearly impossible. My thumb is is about as think as his pinky lol. So he really needs one of those small dongles for a mouse that is rather large. I have no idea where to even look for something like that since there is no search engine for mini dongles and many products lack photos so I am hoping someone on here might know of one.

Also my dad currently uses some microsoft keyboard and mouse that is black and white. I would say it is about 50% bigger than that rosewill mouse hence why he wouldn't really like the rosewill one...though obviously it isn't made anymore and quality is meh. Granted for 20-30 bucks I personal can't complain ^^

As always I appreciate the help! Thanks A lot gents!

Just stay away from the Microsoft Keyboard & Mouse combos. The one I got as a "free gift" was total garbage. It would not work unless you removed and reinstalled the batteries (in essence, resetting the device) and it would cut out after a distance of 4ft. Unless he has a shortage of USB ports, don't feel the need to get a single keyboard and mouse combo. Though the Microsoft combo was crap, I got their wireless mobile mouse 4000 and it has been spectacular. I don't know what I would do without it.

hs microsoft keyboard is nice from what i can tell and he likes it but to each their own. It is weird design to me. Anyways the question is what mice/mouse & keyboard combo have low profile dongles like in picture? Preferable a large mouse though

The Logitech series uses nano transceivers. Logitech MK550 Black Keyboard - Newegg.com

Not sure about the mouse size though. But its not like you can't go to Fry's or Best Buy and see if they don't have this Logitech Keyboard/Mouse combo in order to gauge the size of the mouse for yourself.

I love MS Wireless Mobile Mice. I used to use a 4000 but gave that to my girlfriend when Woot put the 6000 up for $5 per. Should have gotten three to maximize on value with flat-rate shipping. To be fair, the ergonomics of the 4000 are pretty nice too, and functionally it's about the same. They're small, though, so probably not good for the request.

My Logitech combo came with a huge mouse. I don't recall the model number and it's a few years old so uses a larger transceiver, but I imagine they have an equivalent combo with a small transceiver these days.

Oh, I have the Mobile Mouse 4000 too. Damn good mouse. But the Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse combos use a different mouse design and all. It really sucked something awful.
