    Sorry I meant the port itself and not the entire docking station. I want to just buy this port and put in on a generic motherboard. There is nothing to do with Dell at all.

    It's a Dell proprietary port. But eSATA does pretty much the same thing, since it is used to connect optical drives and extra hard drives.

    I am looking for this port because a computer base cashier machine use the same port for the creditcard scanner, the port failed and I need a replacement
