    Hi guys,

    I will prolly be buying a 13'' macbook or a macbook pro pretty soon and I am gonna need a couple of external for my desk at home. I gotta say that I don't know anything about accessories. I will need help figuring out what's good, and what I should get.

    I will need a sleeve (is the incase one from Apple website good?).
    I will also need a keyboard and a mouse (so prolly an usb hub, I saw an iRocks one the other day, it seemed nice).
    I will also need a monitor (20 or 22 inch is more than enough).

    That's about it. I hope you will be able to help me with that.

    PEACE.

    Thomas

    Apple is known for overcharging accessories like crazy. You'd be better off buying accessories for Mac at a normal computer store.

    For example, a guy bought better RAM for his system for less than 20% from the website price. Yep, FIVE times less.

    i bought the STM brink bag for my 17"MBP. it is a very nice fitted bag.

    i also bought the logitech kinetick briefcase, very nice case, get scratch easily, outside zipper sometime get caught, but it is a very handsome case and protect the thing inside very well, and its of very high quality. i'd recommend this one if you dont need fitted bag.

    i suggest something from logitech.

    if you want wireless mouse, get the VX revolution or the VX Nano, or MX1100

    wired... probably the LS1 or the MX400.

    i used the MX400 and the VX revolution for my notebook.

    the microsoft new blutrack explorer also nice, but i usually avoid hooking anything microsoft to my mac. it a sacrilegious thing ;)

    other nice one;
    Logitech V470 - Bluetooth
    Kensington ExpertMouse Trackball
    Razer Pro|Click Mobile Notebook Mouse - wired
    Razer Pro v1.6 Mouse - wired, desktop size

    for keyboard i will actually recommend apple's own line of keyboard.

    if not then;

    Logitech diNovo Edge Keyboard, Mac Edition
    Logitech illuminated keyboard, Mac Edition

    usb hub is usually not a good idea, as the HUB inside the notebook is already shared with other things, like keyboard and camera. but if you must, then make sure to get the powered one. something from Belkin would be ideal.

    make sure your display support display port. if not you need to buy an adapter from apple.

    anything from samsung would be good.

    although i think for the best experience i highly recommend getting the apple cinema display. thats what i would get if i specifically use it on my mac.

    For the 13" sleeve, amazon.com has alot of choices
    Here is the linky:
    http://www.amazon.com/s/qid=1236180...ffice-products&field-keywords=13" sleeves

    Built NY, Belkin make great sleeves, as do many others.

    Outside of the mice already suggested, check out the:
    Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 Mac/Windows - $34.00
    http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Bluetooth-Notebook-Mouse-Windows/dp/B000TG4BA0

    or, Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue)
    http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Bluetooth-Cordless-Laser-Notebooks/dp/B000UY3NR8
