    Hi guys,

I'm curently using a powerfull laptop but I'm not satisfied with my display. I was going to buy a good big display but since I tried working with two monitors i cant go back.
I do some light/medium gaming, watch a couple movies/netflix and use youtube a lot. Since I live in Brazil and there is not much options to chose from (unless you pay a lot), I found a sansung 27" curved 1080p 60Hz (S27D590C) for a somewhat reasonable price. I think I can aford two of them and maybe in a loong future the third one.

    My questions are:
-Can a i7-4720q GTX 970M run this monitor setup?(laptop has 2 mini Display and 1 HDMI ports)
-Is this a good monitor or should I go for another option?(I can wait a couple months and buy it in the US)
-Will a PC or gaming monitor compromise when watching TV or movies?

Thank you verry much guys, happy hollidays!

I own a Dell Ultrasharp IPS display. The color is brilliant. I also really appreciate the matte display for work during daylight hours.

    Your questions:
    1. The 970m shouldn't have much problem with any 1080p display.
    2. I have no experience with that monitor.
    3. IPS displays are generally not considered "hardcore gaming" monitors, but I have had absolutely no issues gaming with mine.

If you're looking at displays larger than 24 inches, get one with native 1440p resolution. The extra pixels will come in handy when doing any number of tasks, and the GTX 970M will be able to handle most games at that resolution as well.

It doesnt need to be more than 24" , its just because the 27" was avaible. I know the GPU can handle one 1440p monitor, but what about two ore three?

Do you want a curved display?

Its not the main feature I'm looking for. If there is a better flat monitor I would be much more interested, but if they are the same specs (and price) i would then prefer the curved for a little bit of immersion.
